The purchase and activation of a Post-warranty Fixed HP Care Pack service should occur no earlier than the last 90 days of the existing coverage period and no later than 30 days after the existing coverage period has expired.  Support required outside these periods may be purchased via standard contractual support.

Post-warranty Fixed HP Care Pack is only available for 1 and 2 year terms.  At no time should two or more of a like Post-warranty Fixed HP Care Pack be purchased at the same time for a given piece of hardware equipment.   The purchase and activation of a subsequent Post-warranty service should occur within the last 90 days of the existing Post-warranty coverage period if additional coverage is desired and the service is still offered.

Post-warranty Fixed HP Care Pack cannot be purchased at the time of new hardware purchased in order to extend warranty duration.  The appropriate upfront Fixed HP Care Pack should be purchased for duration required.
